Availability

Stache for iOS and Stache for Android are In development. No approved store listing, installation package or minimum OS version is documented here yet. Install only an approved client for a supported server version when one is available.

Connection preparation

1. Obtain your Stache Server address and account setup instructions from your administrator.
2. Confirm the address is reachable from the device's network. Localhost on your phone is not your server.
3. Use a trusted HTTPS connection for access outside your local network. Do not bypass certificate validation to make a connection work.
4. Check the release's client/server compatibility information before signing in.

The mobile clients connect to Stache Server. Readers should not need Alexandria administrator credentials. Never send passwords or access tokens in a support report.

Offline and synchronization care

The native clients are designed to be offline-friendly. Exact offline capabilities depend on the approved client version. Before going offline, confirm the data you need is available locally. On reconnecting, inspect any pending changes or sync errors before assuming the server has your latest records.

Do not uninstall the app, clear local storage or replace a device while changes remain unsynced. If synchronization stalls, preserve the local data and note the client/server versions and last successful connection. Follow troubleshooting before attempting a reset.
